INVISIBLE ADHD RESOURCES

The Facts are Friendly

Focusing exclusively on positive facts (rather than affirmations or dreams) is a proven strategy to counteract the persistent negative self-talk that ADHDers often experience. Even when things are going well, a tough day or negative mood can take over our brain and we become unmotivated, believing nothing has changed

This method reliably reminds you of the progress and positive changes you've actually made-that you can make again.

Dice Roll Examples

If you're losing your focus or want to change a mood that isn’t working for you, try rolling one—or even several—dice to decide your next physical state change.

Start by making a simple legend (a list of actions linked to each dice result), so you don’t have to think about it in the moment. The more dice you roll, the more options you’ll have.

You can also use dice to gamify everyday tasks. For example, your legend might say:

  •  Roll a 1 = start a load of laundry
  •  Roll a 8 = make the bed
  •  Roll a 6 = send two emails
